Day 1 Shanghai
The local guide will pick you up at your hotel lobby at about 9 am. Tour begins after greetings. This one-day sightseeing includes Jade Buddha Temple, People Square, Shanghai Museum, Yu Garden, Nanjing Road, Jiangnan Silk Museum and the Bund. After covering all the sites hereinbefore, the guide will transfer you back to the hotel.
- Jade Buddha Temple: It was founded in 1882 with two jade Buddha statues imported to S hanghai from Burma by sea. These were a sitting Buddha (1.95 metres tall, 3 tonnes), and a smaller reclining Buddha representing Buddha's death. The temple now also contains a much larger reclining Jade Buddha, donated from Singapore, and visitors may mistake this larger sculpture for the original, smaller piece.
- People Square: People's Square is the site of Shanghai's municipal government building, and is used as the standard reference point for measurement of distance in the Shanghai municipality.
- Shanghai Museum: s the biggest museum in China, Shanghai Museum has a collection of over 120,000 pieces of Chinese art & cultural heritages. The museum is especially famous for its treasures of bronzes, ceramics, paintings, and calligraphy.
- Yu Garden: A traditional Chinese park decorated by beautiful pavilions, miniature lakes, bridges and rockeries. Yu Garden is not only a famous classical garden in South China, but also a major historic and cultural site under state protection.
- Nanjing Road: Shanghai's main shopping street, enjoying the fame as "the No.1 commercial street of China", also it is one of the most prosperous streets in Asia.
- The Bund: also called the Zhongshan Road, is a famous waterfront and regarded as the symbol of Shanghai for hundreds of years, winding a 1500 meters (less than one mile) length. Walking along the Bund, which is at the west shore of the Huangpu River, the Oriental Pearl TV Tower can be seen on the opposite side and also the Jin Mao Tower.Being one of the Top Ten Shanghai Attractions, the Bund is a really beautiful and special place which is worth visiting
- Jiangnan Silk Museum: Silk industry has occupied great importance in China since thousands of years ago. Jiannan Silk Museum holds many elaborate silk products. Also you may see the procedure how silk is produced.- Hotel:
