Day 1 Shanghai
Nanjing
Our local guide will pick you up at your Shanghai hotel at 9 am. Transfer to Nanjing by private vehicle. Today’s highlights in Nanjing include the Mausoleum of Dr.Sun Yat-sen, the Confucius Temple and the Quinhuai River. After covering these attractions, you will be taken to check in a local 4-star hotel.
- Mausoleum of Dr.Sun Yat-sen: With a solemn atmosphere, Dr. Sun-Yat Sen's Mausoleum is built at the foot of the majestic Purple Mountain. Viewing above, it presents a shape of bell with the meaning that Chinese people should always keep in mind Doctor Sun’s will and dedicate to build a strong China.
- Confucius Temple: The Confucius Temple built in the Song Dynasty is a place to worship the great philosopher Confucius. This area has been the center of Confucian study for over 1.500 years. Now it has become a commercial center, with many featured shops. Also you may enjoy the famous local snacks there.
- Quinhuai River: The Qinhuai River is the cradle of Nanjing’s property. It witnessed and endured the glorious past and activities of Nanjing people. Many comedies and tragedies occurred in the notorious red-light area along its banks, during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Now there are many relics of that time.- Hotel: Rui Tai Hotel(Deluxe Class)
Day 2 Nanjing
Shanghai
In the morning you will visit the Presidential Mansion, followed by the Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge. After lunch, transfer back to Shanghai. Service ends upon arrival in your Shanghai Hotel.
- Presidential Mansion: In the heart of Nanjing's downtown, amdist skyscrapers and bustling boutiques, the Presidential Mansion (Zongtong Fu) is a fascinating witness to some of the most tumultuous events of the last two centuries of Chinese history. The huge complex covers several city blocks, and ranges from classical gardens to neo-European villas and administrative buildings.
- Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge: It is the first bridge independently designed and constructed by the Chinese themselves. The bridge was added to the Guinness World Records as the world's longest bridge featuring the dual functions of highway and railway.- Hotel:
